Yummy pulled pork on a pillowy steamed bun with pineapple salsa.

  • 160-200 grams orange pulled pork from orange pulled pork recipe
  • 1 medium carrot washed and grated (use large holes on grater)
  • 2 handfuls fresh coriander washed and chopped
  • 2 sprigs spring onions washed and sliced on bias
  • 6-8 plain chinese buns use those flattened and folded in half for easy filling
Pineapple Salsa
  • 1/4 medium pineapple diced
  • 1/2 medium red chilli washed and sliced on bias
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  1. To make pineapple salsa, combine pineapple salsa ingredients with 1/2 handful of coriander and 1 sprig of spring onion. Set aside in fridge to marinate.

  2. Grate carrots.

  3. Reheat buns according to package directions.

  4. Reheat pulled pork.

  5. To serve, transfer vegetables, pork, buns and pineapple salsa to serving dishes.
